Majid Rashed, president of the Asian Paralympic Committee (APC), conveyed joy and enthusiasm following his involvement in the Asian Para Games torch relay in Hangzhou on October 21, 2023.

Reflecting on the torch relay experience, he stated, "The torch relay event today, with the very warm people around and welcoming us with a nice smile, gave us more energy. I was excited, and I was happy holding on, carrying the torch in the event today, and looking forward for the opening ceremony." 

Rashed lauded the city's inviting atmosphere, characterizing the relay as a thrilling and invigorating experience. Recognizing China's forefront position in artificial intelligence, he emphasized the relay's incorporation of smart technologies and anticipated their beneficial effects on the lives of individuals with disabilities. 

Furthermore, he commended the flawless organization of the event and expressed appreciation for the warm hospitality extended during the relay.
