On October 6, scenic spots and attractions (including rural tourism) in Hangzhou city received a total of 13,008,700 tourists during this year's Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holiday. The Asian Games has an obvious pulling effect on the local holiday tourism market consumption.

According to statistics, foreign tourists stayed in Hangzhou for 3.3 days per capita during the holiday period, doubling the figures compared to previous holidays. The peak number of tourists in Hangzhou appeared on October 2, at 2,058,200 people.

According to data from UnionPay, Hangzhou's travel-related consumption during the long vacation amounted to 19.3289 billion yuan. The top ranked tourist attractions are West Lake Scenic Spot, Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal, Xixi National Wetland Park, Lingyin Scenic Spot, Tangqi Ancient Town, Hangzhou Senpo Water Park, Hangzhou Zoo and other attractions.
