On the afternoon of December 3rd, Zhejiang Digital Intelligence Technology Research Institute Inaugural Meeting and Zhejiang Digital Intelligence Technology Summit Forum were jointly held in Hangzhou.

Driven by the new generation of information technology, human society is on the threshed of a new era in digital intelligence. Tang Yong, President of Zhejiang Digital Technology Research Institute, said that the Institute is primarily responsible for the publicity of digital technology policies, research on digital technology, promotion of academic activities and academic exchanges, transformation and application of scientific and technological achievements, thus playing a positive role in the digital reform of Zhejiang Province.

Digital intelligence is a major trend in the new round of scientific and technological revolution. It will also affect the great transformation of human society and bring about changes in the way of life, the way of production, and the mode of government governance. It is understood that since the preparation of the Institute in the second half of last year, more than 400 organizations and individuals have become members of the institute, including leading enterprises such as Alibaba, Geely Auto, Hikvision, and universities such as Zhejiang University and Hangzhou Dianzi University.

At the inaugural meeting, Pan Jianwei, vice president of the China Association for Science and Technology and academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, was appointed as the chief academic advisor of the Institute, and Wang Jian, the founder of Alibaba Cloud and academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering, was appointed as the chief academic advisor of the Institute.

The Institute will accelerate the establishment of the academic committee, a number of working committees and professional committees, the talent pool, the technical library, and the project library, and strengthen the construction of the expert team, member team, and service team. The Institute will also expand and strengthen various platforms such as forums, seminars, exhibitions, and promotion meetings, especially striving to make the Zhejiang Digital Intelligence Technology Summit Forum an important business card of the Institute. In addition, the Institute will adhere to the purpose of policy consultation, scientific and technological innovation, achievement transformation, scientific popularization, technical training, and other services to serve the industry, society, the government, and the members.
