A grand ceremony paying tribute to Huangdi, or the Yellow Emperor, who is considered a common ancestor of all Han Chinese, is held in Jinyun County, east China's Zhejiang Province, on Oct. 4, 2022. The worship for the Yellow Emperor can be traced back to the Eastern Jin Dynasty (317–420), making it a ritual with a history of over 1,600 years.
