1. The power of copyright, to benefit the masses: 2021 International Copyright Forum is held
From October 16 to October 17, 2021, International Copyright Forum was held in Hangzhou during the 8th China International Copyright Expo.
How can copyrights help bring culture to the people, help promote cultural and creative innovation, and how to use the multilateral fruits of copyright to propel global economic recovery and growth in the post-pandemic era?
During the forum, more than 300 Chinese and foreign guests, including officials and experts in copyright from the EU, UK, Japan, Korea, Mexico, Spain, and other countries, representatives from some Chinese provincial and municipal copyright bureaus, and other parties concerned held in-depth discussions.
Both Chinese and foreign guests agreed that multilateral fruits of copyright directly reflect the notion of win-win multilateral cooperation, serving as a foundation for building up a balanced and effective international copyright protection system, which requires collaboration.
2. Ministry of Education has established 12 experimental zones for comprehensive reform of basic education, Zhejiang Jinhua is one of them
In recent days, Notice on the Establishment of the Experimental Zone for Comprehensive Reform of Basic Education by the Ministry of Education is published on the official website of the Ministry of Education of PRC.
Jinhua is the only municipality in Zhejiang that is chosen by the Ministry of Education as one of the experimental zones for comprehensive reform of basic education. Jinhua specifies that by the year 2025, it will make preschool education universal, drive compulsory education forward, and manage well high school education all of high quality and of a high standard; it will Integratedly develop special education and enrich educational resources with high quality, etc.
3. Zhejiang to preserve the biodiversity of its waters
In order to drive forward the building up of beautiful Zhejiang in a new era, in recent days, the People’s Government of Zhejiang Province have vowed to take actions to preserve biodiversity and to restore the ecology of eight major river systems such as the Qiantang River (including Cao'e River), Ou River, the canal and of near-shore waters. By the year 2025, the population of over five rare endangered species such as Songjiang Bass in Qiantang River, and indigenous fish resources will be restored. From 2021 onwards, through an anniversary, Zhejiang will complete a background survey of aquatic biological resources and establish an asset ledger and database.
4. National Demonstration Logistics Park Comes
The 26th China Hardware Fair, which was postponed due to COVID-19, will resume from October 25 to 27, 2021, at Yongkang International Convention and Exhibition Center.
At the beginning of October, the Jinhua Municipal Development and Reform Commission announced that Mid-Zhejiang Multimodal Transport Park has been approved as a national demonstration logistics park in the third batch of listings by the National Development and Reform Commission and the Ministry of Natural Resources.
At the end of 2018, Jinhua was approved as a national logistics hub focusing on service-oriented manufacturing, and Yiwu was approved as a national logistics hub for service-oriented commerce and trade. The Mid-Zhejiang Multimodal Transport Park is the key to the course of building a national logistics hub. It is also a part of the Zhejiang Free Trade Zone and the Yiwu International Trade Comprehensive Reform Pilot Zone.
At present, the Mid-Zhejiang Multimodal Transport Park has generated a variety of subdivisions, such as international freight, cross-border e-commerce, supply chain services, and cold chain logistics. Since the beginning of this year, the park has operated 496 China-Europe freight trains carrying a total of 41,042 TEU containers, with a year-on-year increase of 95%.
5. Shaoxing to host fashion fair on Oct 19
The 2021 Fashion Supply Chain Fair Shaoxing will be held at the China Textile City in Shaoxing, Zhejiang province from Oct 19 to 21.
According to its organizers, the 15,000-square-meter exhibition area will showcase textile and fashion products from over 200 companies.
There will also be themed areas for fashion shows, professional forums, and match-making activities.
This October, the fourth World Textile Merchandising Conference will again be held in Keqiao, a district with the most complete textile industry chain, the strongest textile production capacity, and China Textile City, which is the world's largest textile distribution center.
