Thanks to the brilliant sunshine these days, the wheat in the field grows mature with golden luster. Zheng chungen, a big grain farmer in Shengzhou, is busy harvesting his wheat under the sun every day. "Some of the wheat plants are withered. I have to harvest them on sunny days before the ears fall down," said Zheng chungen.

In the wheat base located in Changqiao village, Sanjie Town, Shengzhou City, it was the fourth day to have harvesters drove into the wheat field to work on a total of more than 1,000 acres of farmland. The wheat harvesting has no longer relied on the wheat cutters but machines. It is reported that the wheat field after harvest will be ploughed immediately to plant single season late rice.
