Recently, Prof. Tian Mei from the School of Medicine, Zhejiang University was awarded the 16th China Youth Five Four Medal by the Central Committee of Communist Youth League of China.
She is a professor of nuclear medicine and molecular imaging in the Second Affiliated Hospital of Zhejiang University, a Cheung Kong scholar, director of the Provincial Key Laboratory of Molecular Imaging and vice president of Binjiang Hospital of Zhejiang University.
Her primary research interests include clinical and translational studies on positron emission tomography (PET), or PET-CT and in combination with MRI, clinical and translational studies on neuroimaging, general nuclear medicine diagnosis and treatment, in vivo stem cell or T cell trafficking using multimodality imaging (PET/CT/MRI/optical imaging).
Her research renders generous support to the prevention, diagnosis and assessment of major diseases.
