Liu Jie, born in 1985, is a celadon maker in Longquan City of Zhejiang Province. In 2016, he closed his studio and moved to a mountain with his family in the southern suburb of Longquan, where he built a kiln for Longquan celadon and researched on the traditional making of celadon. Liu follows the traditional way of celadon making of the Song Dynasty (960-1279) and does all the procedures personally.
