Hangzhou received 2.554 million tourists during the three-day holiday of Qingming Festival (also known as Tomb-Sweeping Day) with a year-on-year growth of 7.3%, according to Hangzhou Municipal Tourism Commission.

Up until 1 p.m., April 7, main tourist attractions (spots) including Xixi National Wetland Park, Lingyin Temple and Thousand Islets Lake have received 320,100 tourists with revenue from tickets sales and tourism totaling 108 million yuan.

A report on self-driving tour of this year’s three-day holiday provided by AMAP reveals that West Lake Scenic Spot once again topped the hottest tourist attractions in China. Statistics suggest that the overall score of Hangzhou rated by non-local tourists reaches 4.7/5.0, hitting a record high.

An intelligent travel system, facilitated by data from meteorological and traffic departments, cooperated with the West Lake Scenic Spot police for the first time. Passenger flow of core scenic spots such as Broken Bridge is estimated to support the pre-alarming and congestion easing.
