The first International Youth Poetry Festival - Special Session for BRICS countries kicks off in July 2024 in Hangzhou and Beijing, drawing more than 70 young poets from 10 countries.

Poets from BRICS countries gathered in Haining on the morning of July 21st to immerse themselves in the unique sericulture culture of the region. This day marked the fourth day of the cultural exchange event, and the poets showed great interest in Haining’s thriving sericulture industry.

During the event, ZICC reporters randomly selected a few poets and invited them to share their favorite photos and the “Zhejiang stories” behind them. Through these photos and their accompanying narratives, the poets expressed their deep appreciation for Zhejiang’s culture and the warm hospitality of its people.
