As an international student, I found the experience ofexploring the Zhejiang Provincial Museum of Intangible Cultural Heritage and the Archaeological Ruins of Liangzhu City particularly memorable.

I have long been fascinated byChina’s intangible cultural heritage, which encompasses living traditions, arts, and practices that have been passed down through generations.

The exhibits at Zhejiang Provincial Museum of Intangible Cultural Heritagefunctioned as portals, enabling a journey through time and space. This museum is a treasure of art, history, and craft demonstrating a profound depth of intangible cultural heritage. The intangible became part of the tangible, and history came alive in that moment of reverence and awe with the museum.

I proceeded to the Archaeological Ruins of Liangzhu City, which provided a profound connection to my ancestral roots in China. As I walked around its grounds, it became evident that the Liangzhu culture, which dates back over 5,000 years, exhibited a level, of advancement that stood out in comparison to other sites I had visited.
