The 9th Yuandong Peach Blossom Festival kicked off in Yuandong Village of Jindong District, Jinhua City, Zhejiang Province on March 23, 2019. 

Traditional dragon dance, Daoqing opera, Jinhua opera and various intangible cultural heritages of Jindong are showcased to celebrate the full bloom of the flowers, inventing a joyful atmosphere in the peach tree forests.

Reportedly, the festival integrates native music elements, inviting visitors to sing songs composed by Shi Guangnan (1940-1990), a famous Chinese composer native of Jindong.

Yuandong Village, with soft and thick topsoil and fertile hills, is a natural ground for peach growing. Yuandong's peach are sold to major cities in China including Shanghai, Nanjing, Hangzhou, etc. and regions around the world such as the Russian Federation.
