Thirteen students from the Chinese language programs at the Complutense University of Madrid, the Autonomous University of Barcelona and the University of Seville, spent two weeks in an unforgettable trip to China, led by teachers and students from the Spanish language department at Zhejiang International Studies University.

During their stay, the students they learned traditional Chinese characters, paintings and experienced ancient Chinese musical instruments and costumes.

They also visited the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal Museum, Zhejiang Provincial Museum, Zhejiang Intangible Cultural Heritage Museum, Liangzhu Museum and China Tea Museum, where they experienced the charm of Chinese canal culture, Zhejiang's historical culture, intangible cultural heritage, Liangzhu civilization,and tea culture, gaining a deeper appreciation for the richness of Chinese civilization.

Furthermore, Zhejiang International Studies University arranged visits to the Zhejiang International Communication Center, Wasu, Cainiao, and other enterprises, providing the students with an up-close look at the achievements of modern technology and new media development in China.

During their stay in China, the students used Alipay to take public transportation, shop at supermarkets, dine in restaurants and watch movies, making mobile payments an integral part of their daily lives.

Additionally, they traveled to places like Wuzhen and Nanjing to immerse themselves in the local customs and culture of China.
