“The Exhibition of Achievements in Compiling A Comprehensive Collection of Ancient Chinese Paintings” kicked off in the National Museum of China, covering an area of 6,000 square meters as the largest exhibition of the museum in recent years. 

This exhibition includes 12,405 pieces of Chinese paintings made of paper, silk and fibre from 263 cultural institutions at home and abroad, among which there are 9,155 pieces are domestic collections while 3,250 pieces are from abroad, covering most of the “national treasure” level of paintings of China. 

This exhibition uses a large number of rare images and documents to restore the glorious history of Chinese civilization and builds a great masterpiece that connects ancient times and the modern world today.
