International teachers from the Lanrun Angel Foreign Language Experimental School in Changshuo subdistrict, Anji county, Huzhou, Zhejiang province, recently participated in a team-building about Anji white tea culture.
They experienced tea picking and learned how to make matcha under the guidance of tea masters, so they could better appreciate Anji's ecological beauty and cultural allure.
Changshuo subdistrict, in its pursuit of an "internationalized community", has been committed to fostering the integration of international teachers with local culture.
In addition to the tea-themed event, the International Teacher Cultural Salon provides regular cultural activities like bamboo weaving and sports events, facilitating the expats' understanding of Anji's culture and seamless integration into local life.
Chen Xufeng, a member of the Changshuo subdistrict Party working committee, said that they will continue using culture as a bridge to enhance interactions between international teachers and the local community, and to attract more foreigners to Anji.
