Organized by the Chinese Chamber of Commerce of San Francisco, the annual San Francisco New Year's Day Parade was held on Feb 15. Government officials, literati, artists and performance teams, including Chinese martial arts performance team, dragon and lion dance team, Chinese hanfu team, attended the event.

Shaolin Temple master Shi Yanyu led the team to make an appearance, bringing a unique display of Shaolin culture to local people and tourists.
