The press conference for the 20th Asian Senior Karate Championship and the 3rd Asian Para-Karate Championship was held in Linping, Hangzhou in Sept 6.

The Championships will take place from September 20 to 22 at the Linping Sports Center Stadium, hosted by the Asian Karate Federation and co-organized by the Chinese Karate Association and Linping District Government. Over 700 athletes from more than 30 countries and areas will compete across 25 events.

The opening ceremony will feature the awarding of the Asian Karate Academy and performances blending local heritage and karate.

Additionally, Linping district has introduced two tourism routes, offering visitors a chance to explore cultural landmarks and experience traditional Jiangnan cuisine.
