China, France business schools collaborate for tech forum

A forum about tech innovation and management development between business schools of China and France took place on Saturday at Zhangjiang Hi-Tech Park in Shanghai, jointly hosted by the Faculty of Business for Science & Technology, University of Science and Technology of China, and France's SKEMA Business School.


Against the backdrop of digital intelligence technology reshaping the global economic structure, the world's industry chain has been going through a reform of cross-field infusion and opening restructure. The seminar aims to build a cross-border and interdisciplinary communication platform for thinkers and insiders to explore an innovative way for sustainable development for the infusion of technology and business.


Professor Weng Qingxiong from USTC discussed the new opportunities and challenges for tech enterprises, emphasizing the role of innovation in future investment. Dr Hamza Boukili, co-founder of HR Flow AI, presented insights on the French innovation ecosystem and shared practical strategies for Chinese tech companies to expand business in Europe.


One of the key highlights was the introduction of the DBA Express – Innovative Entrepreneur Scholars (IES) program, set to begin in September 2025. The program combines USTC's expertise in business administration with SKEMA's global business education to train entrepreneur-scholars with a forward-thinking mindset.


The event also featured an exhibition, strengthening ties between academia and industry and paving the way for future collaborations.
