The 33rd East China Fair in Shanghai concluded on March 4, and was attended by 44 companies from Huzhou, Zhejiang province. These companies secured intended orders totaling $33.84 million, a 2.8 percent increase from the previous year, as revealed by the Huzhou Municipal Bureau of Commerce.


Zhejiang Lanweier Paper Products Co clinched the Product Innovation Award at the fair for their novel creation, the "Blue and White Porcelain Paper Tableware".


Specializing in the design, production, and sales of paper containers, the company has exported its products to over 50 countries and received acclaim worldwide. It secured $1 million in intended orders during the fair.


Deqing Jiayi Health Technology Co, a familiar presence at the fair, displayed popular home products like compressible sofas and foldable mats, attracting significant interest from both local and international buyers.


"We had 40 potential clients at the fair and saw a big increase in current orders compared to the previous year," said Xu Mengjun, the company's sales manager.


At the fair, Huzhou companies presented unique products and materials, including bamboo furniture and curtain fabrics, which captivated the attention of buyers, signaling a promising outlook for future business prospects.
