Hangzhou's first JD Mall is set to offer an immersive retail experience, with over 30 themed zones and more than 200,000 products for sale.

Designed with a distinctive red, wave-like facade inspired by the Grand Canal, the mall will also include office spaces and a hotel, with underground parking open to the public.

Shoppers will be able to test appliances in real-time – such as trying out a washing machine on the spot before making a purchase, with free delivery included. The mall will house over 200 top brands, including high-end labels debuting in Hangzhou.

Located in the Daguan area of Gongshu district, the project spans 88,000 square meters and includes two commercial buildings and a four-story retail podium. With an investment of 1.2 billion yuan ($164.8 million), construction is expected to be completed by mid-2028.
