Quzhou – located in East China's Zhejiang province – was recently selected as a land-port type national logistics hub city, becoming one of 26 new national logistics hubs.
That's according to the National Logistics Hub Layout Optimization and Adjustment Plan, which was released by the National Development and Reform Commission.
National logistics hubs serve as critical centers for logistics resource allocation and activity organization – significantly reducing logistics costs across the country.
Quzhou, situated upstream of the Qiantang River and at the intersection of Zhejiang, Fujian, Jiangxi, and Anhui provinces, leverages strategic platforms like the four-province border multimodal transport hub port. This positioning provides unique advantages for developing a national logistics hub.
In recent years, the city has focused on creating a modern logistics system that is characterized by rapid distribution, a rational layout, convenience, efficiency, the integration of production and transportation, and comprehensive functions.

The city features eight national highways and eight provincial highways, with four railway exit channels, achieving highway and high-speed rail access in every county.
Quzhou has also opened the Longyou Port's Qiaotoujiang and Qujiang Port's Daluozhang port operation areas. Moreover, the Qujiang waterway connects with North Zhejiang's inland waterway network, facilitating direct transport to major ports like Shanghai and Ningbo-Zhoushan.
Quzhou hosts 42 A-level and above logistics enterprises, 73 hazardous materials transportation companies, and 31 registered courier companies, processing 600 million parcels annually.
