A meeting focused on the advancement of high-quality cross-border e-commerce took place on Dec 19 at the Zhejiang Yangtze River Delta High-level Talent Innovation Park, with representatives from 150 of Jiaxing's leading foreign trade enterprises and industry experts participating.

During the event, Jiaxing and Alibaba Group solidified their partnership by announcing the establishment of a B-end cross-border e-commerce industry demonstration park at the Zhejiang Yangtze River Delta High-level Talent Entrepreneurship Base.

Spanning approximately 10,000 square meters, the park is scheduled to open in March of next year. It is designed to serve as an integrated operational platform, a comprehensive service hub, a digital innovation center, and a specialized talent cultivation ground.

Jiaxing is striving to position itself as a key player in the international cross-border e-commerce arena. In recent years, its cross-border e-commerce sector has experienced significant growth, emerging as a driving force behind the expansion of foreign trade.

The city's geographical positioning, robust manufacturing foundation, and well-established industrial ecosystem collectively foster an exceptional business environment, instilling companies with the confidence to increase their investments in Jiaxing.

Furthermore, educational institutions in Jiaxing such as Jiaxing University, Jiaxing Nanhu University, and Jiaxing Vocational & Technical College have introduced specialized majors focusing on cross-border e-commerce.
