Four comprehensive bonded zones in Ningbo, Zhejiang province have excelled in the national evaluation of comprehensive bonded zones' performance in 2023, as reported by the General Administration of Customs.

The Ningbo Bonded Zone, Ningbo Beilun Port Comprehensive Bonded Zone, Ningbo Qianwan Comprehensive Bonded Zone, and Ningbo Meishan Comprehensive Bonded Zone secured the 6th, 12th, 41st, and 43rd positions in East China, respectively. On a national scale, these zones achieved the 8th, 17th, 55th, and 57th rankings, marking notable advancements of 13, 23, 44, and 21 places, compared to the previous year.

Both the Ningbo Bonded Zone and Ningbo Beilun Port Comprehensive Bonded Zone have been designated as A-category zones in the national comprehensive rankings.

Encompassing a combined area of 11.69 square kilometers, the four comprehensive bonded zones in Ningbo have effectively leveraged local strengths and cutting-edge industries. By harnessing the potential of the "bonded+" system innovation, Ningbo is propelling advancements across various sectors, fostering comprehensive openness, and spearheading differentiated and specialized innovations. These endeavors aim to establish a new hub of an open economy, underscoring Ningbo's commitment to emerging as a national exemplar of economic development and innovation.
