The 136th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) opened in Guangzhou on Oct 15. This year's event will be held in three phases from Oct 15 to Nov 4, covering a vast area of 1.55 million square meters with over 30,000 exhibitors.

As a key indicator of foreign trade, the Canton Fair remains a crucial platform for Jiaxing companies looking to secure orders and expand into new markets. A total of 535 companies from Jiaxing are participating, showcasing over 41,000 products – more than 20 percent of which are new.

Pinghu Chenda Storage and Office Co Ltd, a regular at the fair, saw a steady stream of international buyers. General Manager Hu Hebing noted increased enthusiasm this year, expressing optimism for more collaborations. The company is showcasing nearly 100 products across 10 series, including innovative toolboxes and charging cabinets.

Zhejiang Yili Electric Co Ltd is another highlight, featuring a diverse array of cleaning products. Its booth has four product experience zones with hourly demonstrations, showcasing innovations like a two-in-one cleaning and vacuuming device.

Jiaxing's local governments and commerce departments provided extensive support, including training and on-site services, to boost enterprise competitiveness. The fair showcases Jiaxing's manufacturing prowess, offering rich products, top-notch services, and prominent brands to global clients.
