Jiaxing's iconic traditional food brands are making a significant impact in international markets.

Jiaxing Sanzhenzhai Food Co Ltd, known for its duck products, has expanded its exports to include tomato sauce and is shipping to countries like Yemen, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and Iraq.

Leveraging high-temperature sterilization and vacuum sealing, Sanzhenzhai has forged a unique path for its traditional brand. In the first eight months of this year, its exports reached 1.72 billion yuan ($243.23 million), a 58.5-percent increase from the previous year.

Years ago, Sanzhenzhai began making plans to expand by acquiring a canned food company in Jiangsu and establishing a tomato cultivation base in Northwest China. This strategic move has positioned the company among China's top three canned food exporters. With plans to enter the European market, the company aims to surpass 2 billion yuan in exports this year.

Another successfully-transformed company is Jiaxing Yuquanshun Food Co Ltd,  which founded its Laojiaxing brand after experimenting with seasonal delicacies like milk-flavored coconut mooncakes. Guided by Jiaxing Customs, its products have reached international markets.

Jiaxing Customs' official Xu Jie highlighted the role of smart supervision in reducing clearance times for traditional brands, hoping to see more brands upgrade and revitalize the market.
