Jiaxing, located in Zhejiang province, has implemented a range of initiatives to provide efficient payment services for international visitors to the city.

The city has strategically focused on areas frequently visited by foreign nationals, such as the Nanhu Scenic Area, Nanhu Tiandi Business District, Wuzhen Scenic Area, and Puyuan Fashion Ancient Town. Ongoing initiatives aim to enable seamless access to services like payment with foreign bank cards, cash transactions, foreign currency exchange, and mobile payments within and around these designated areas.

Currently, 402 bank branches throughout the city offer foreign currency exchange for cash, while 37 hotels have established foreign currency exchange points, according to official data.
