The launch ceremony of the Huzhou (ASEAN) Overseas Marketing Center was held in Bangkok, Thailand, on June 28, marking a milestone in the global expansion efforts of Huzhou, Zhejiang province.

The center is the first of many overseas marketing centers that Huzhou will build. The ASEAN region is Huzhou's largest export market and the main area for the transnational investment of its enterprises. In 2023, the city's trade with the region accounted for 16.6 percent of total foreign trade.

The center adheres to a "1+N" operation model. The main center serves as a hub for various functions, including marketing, exhibitions, and office services, while sub-centers cater to specific industries.

The first sub-center dedicated to children's clothing was also launched in the Pratunam Market in Bangkok on June 28, with 43 Huzhou enterprises setting up operations there.

"The overseas marketing center not only allows enterprises to achieve global expansion, but also helps with procedures for exports," said Yan Lierong, general manager of Huzhou Quanlian E-commerce Co.

In addition to children's clothing enterprises, nearly 100 Huzhou enterprises in intelligent manufacturing, new energy, and other fields have joined the Huzhou (ASEAN) Overseas Marketing Center.
