The production workshops of Vervo Valve in the Liandu Economic Development Zone in Lishui, Zhejiang province have been operating at full capacity recently to prepare overseas orders from the Middle East and Europe.

With over 40 automated CNC machines, the factory has significantly improved efficiency and quality through digital upgrades. "One worker used to operate three to four machines, but now 10 machines can be handled by just one person," said Ke Changyun, the company's production manager.

Established in 2020, Zhejiang Vervo Valve Company specializes in valve manufacturing and mechanical parts machining. Recognizing the need for sustainable growth, the company has invested around 30 million yuan ($4.15 million) in digital transformation since 2021.

This transformation has led to shortened production cycles, enhanced product quality, and reduced manufacturing costs.

Chen Fan, head of the company, said, "With investment in intelligent machines, CNC centers, and robotic arms, our company has managed to increase efficiency by 40 percent and production capacity by 30 percent."

The company enjoys strong demand in both domestic and foreign markets, with orders scheduled until June and 40 percent coming from overseas. Plans for a second-phase plant are already in progress to meet the growing demand.

The valve industry in the Liandu Economic Development Zone benefits from a cluster of nearly 90 valve enterprises.

The zone is currently home to 37 valve enterprises above designated size, achieving an output value of 470 million yuan in the first quarter, a growth of 27.08 percent.
