Hangzhou's Cloud Town hosted the much-anticipated 2050 Conference on the last weekend of April, with over 4,000 young people from 345 cities worldwide gathering to exchange academic insights and ideas, with discussions focusing on emerging industries like aerospace, astronomy, life sciences, and artificial intelligence.

Now in its fifth edition, the 2050 Conference has evolved into a renowned platform for tech-savvy youth. The expansive venue served not only as a showcase for achievements but also as an arena for talent showdowns. Participants engaged in contests like coding challenges, AI short film competitions, and debates on the future of technology versus humanities, employing tools for intellectual and physical competitions.

AJ, a self-taught AI expert, shared her expertise with fellow attendees. Her AI short film Fantasy Village won accolades at the MIT Film Hackathon. Leveraging tools like Midjourney and GPT-4, she believes AI's formidable learning capabilities will revolutionize the arts and visual domains.

As a crucial part of new quality productive forces, AI technologies and products have infiltrated various aspects of our lives, enhancing computational power, quality, efficiency, and assisting human endeavors in industries like manufacturing, healthcare, and cultural creativity.

During the conference, discussions on AI-related topics such as AI Empowering Sustainable Development took place, accompanied by live demonstrations of various innovations.

"The conference is an annual rendezvous for young talent, but we prioritize the 'post-conference effect', aiming to make it a talent attraction hub," said an official from Cloud Town. During the event, numerous industry experts explained relevant talent policies, with 11 young people assisting in their applications for the national "Overseas Talent Recruitment" program.
