E-commerce Expo to kick off on April 11

China International Electronic Commerce Expo 2019 & Digital Trade Expo will be held in Yiwu International Expo Center from April 11 to 13. Under the guidance of the Ministry of Commerce and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, it is jointly held by China International Electronic Commerce Center, China Electronics Chamber of Commerce, Department of Commerce of Zhejiang Province and Yiwu Municipal People's Government.


The E-commerce Expo focuses on the current hot topics of digital economy, new retail, AI, rural E-commerce, and extends in-depth integrated communication of digital economy with import and consumption. Themed "New Opportunities for E-commerce in the New Era of Digital Trade", the Expo promotes the transformation of traditional commerce and theupgrading of market consumption by means of exhibition, exchange, and cooperative experience, leading the development of international E-commerce and retail industry.


Up to now, the E-commerce Expo has attracted 1,135 exhibitors covering 2,232 booths from the United States, Germany, Japan, France, Singapore, Australia, Malaysia, Brazil, Nigeria, Colombia, etc., and 24 provinces and cities in China.


As an important supporting part of this Expo, a forum will be held to bring together guests from government authorities, academic leaders, business elites, senior executives, etc. Focusing on the latest research achievements in the field of rule of law in E-commerce, the forum is to carry out in-depth discussions over the problems affecting the sustainable and stable development of E-commerce, and to put forward insightful opinions on how to promote the industry. Major experts and legal professionals who participated in the drafting of the Electronic Commerce Law will give authoritative interpretation to the relevant provisions of the Electronic Commerce Law.
