On May 28, a BRI international skills competition under the theme "Skills Cooperation & Common Development" was held at the Chongqing International Expo Center in Chongqing, a major city in southwest China. 

The competition set up 18 events such as electronic technology, water treatment technology, automotive technology, fine carpentry, fashion technology, baking, beauty, cooking (Western style), hairdressing, etc. 

698 participants from countries and regions covering six continents took part in the competition.
