From May 23 to 26, Che Jun, Secretary of the CPC Zhejiang Provincial Committee, led a delegation to Czech to promote the active involvement of Zhejiang Province in the BRI construction.
Che Jun paid an inspection trip to Pavlov Logistics Park, listened to the report on the layout and development plan of “multiple parks” of the Czech station and praised that the construction of the Czech station highlighted the Chinese speed and Zhejiang efficiency.
With the promotion of the BRI construction and the China-Europe freight train, the economic and trade exchanges between Zhejiang and Czech have seen impressive growth in recent years.
The BRI Czech station operated by Zhejiang Huajie Investment and Development Co., Ltd. is a complex integrating the functions such as service center, trade and logistics hub, and covering such fields as logistics, commerce and trade, processing and manufacturing, and integrated services. According to its positioning, it will develop into a freight yard, a logistics park, a business park, an industrial park and an integrated service park in the future. Moreover, to facilitate the work in Czech, Zhejiang Huajie has established a wholly-owned subsidiary--Europe Huajie and carried out projects in Prague.
In September 2018, Pavlov Logistics Park was officially opened, which signified that the BRI Czech station realized two-way cargo movement. The ancient Silk Road has been revitalized to link Czech and Zhejiang together tightly.
In recent years, Han Jiaqing, a Zhejiang businessman, has traveled to almost all European countries and planned to build a platform to “sell products to Europe” and “buy products from Europe”. With his efforts, European-Chinese Business a.s. was established, composed of overseas Chinese leaders, local celebrities and business elites of different countries. It is aimed to build a trading bridge between Europe and China, stimulate the domestic demand of China, establish an information platform and share the fruits of cooperation.
On April 11 this year, a delegation to China sent by the company held a signing ceremony in Hangzhou with Hangzhou West Lake Assets Management Group Co., Ltd. According to the agreement, in the coming months, 150,000 cans of quality Czech beer will take the “Yiwu-Xinjiang-Europe” train, starting from Prague, and arrive at the dining tables of Hangzhou citizens. Han Jiaqing saw a large space for the cooperation between both sides.
