It’s learned from the 4th China-CEEC Conference of Agricultural Ministers convened in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province on May 17, 2019, the agricultural trade between China and Central and Eastern European Countries (CEECs) grew fast over the past year, with the total trade volume of agricultural products amounting to USD 1.2 billion.
The agricultural resources and production capacity of both sides boast their advantages and highly supplement each other’s market. Both sides have enriched their forms of cooperation and witnessed a strong development momentum of cross-border e-commerce.
Moreover, trade facilitation has been improved continuously. A quarantine protocol has been signed on the exporting of dozens of agricultural products to China, making more CEEC quality agricultural products conveniently accessible to Chinese customers. In the future, both sides will strengthen cooperation to improve their agricultural production capacity.
