The 2nd China International Import Expo will open in about five months, and its hoster Ningbo has already started warming up – from May 24th to 26th, 2019 China Cross-border E-Commerce International Famous Products Expo and Zhejiang Import Commodities Exhibition (or the “Imported Commodities Exhibition”), co-sponsored by Ningbo Municipal Government and Zhejiang Provincial Department of Commerce, hosted by the Municipal Council for the Promotion of International Trade, will be held at Ningbo International Convention and Exhibition Center.

Thousands of cross-border purchase platforms, more than 10,000 international famous products and imported fine products from more than 100 countries and regions will be unveiled.

“Ningbo has always been committed to building a distribution center for imported consumer goods and hopes that many featured products can enter China through Ningbo.” At the recent press conference, the person in charge of the organizing committee introduced that a new round of high-level opening to the outside world is being  promoted.

Under the situation, the Import Commodities Exhibition will actively undertake the spillover effect of China International Import Expo, and focus on domestic consumption hotspots: on one hand, build a two-way display trading platform for domestic and foreign merchants, and promote suppliers and buyers in the international trade industry chain. The all-round docking of trade finance and other trade service providers, on the other hand, hopes to vigorously promote domestic consumption, so that people can buy cheap and high-quality overseas goods without leaving home.

This year's Import Commodities Exhibition has six major theme exhibition areas, namely International Cross-border E-Commerce Exhibition Area, Ningbo Imported Commodity Central Exhibition Area, International Famous Household Appliances Exhibition Area, Imported Consumer Goods Retail Exhibition Area, Children's Garden (Family Play) Exhibition Area, and International Food Experience Exhibition area.

During the exhibition, cross-border trade procurement matchmaking fairs, imported special product promotion conferences, Japanese financial and real estate service promotion conferences will also beheld.
